I have never been boisterous in my life. Even saying the word feels foreign on my tongue. Have I been ecstatic, happy, thrilled, impatient, giddy even? Of course. But boisterous, to me, implies a level of letting go, of freedom of expression that I never really allow myself. Perhaps because I might feel out of control, and for me that would be most uncomfortable. Please do let me know if you ever catch me being boisterous so I can commit it to memory.
