These are so amazing, Cheryl. The 2nd to the last one looks like it could be some kind of alien animal – it’s a cute animal though 🙂

Thanks Dan. What is a amazing to me is that I more often get the best macro shots with my phone camera than my professional one.

I’m trying to learn how to use the close-up feature of my camera. Not having much luck. However you get them, they’re great.

Well some camera lenses work best with not too much zoom and then cropped. Others work best just keeping your lens partially zoomed and getting really close. I get the best clarity but getting as close as possible naturally. Too much zoom with the phone gives a grainy effect. Good luck!

I think the “close-up” feature is meant to be used when zooming in on something. I thing it changes where the focus is.

What kind of camera do you have again? Oh. I decided to not feed The Adobe beast by getting Lightroom. I chose Pixelmator instad which works nicely with the Mac iEditor. So far I like it. But, like Photoshop it requires study and practice.

There are good alternatives to Adobe products. I have to use Adobe at work, so, for now, I don’t want to get confused, but I don’t know if I’ll continue the subscription after I retire.
