Floating, freefalling
suspended in time
and the space between
desolation and exuberance,
holding my breath lest
the hammer fall,
the sweet
taste of fearlessness
leaving my lips,
for the return of
bitter disappointment.
Still I float, looking
only upward and
into the light of
possibility.
Float on, float on…….
Thanks for the encouragement, Modest Mouse
I don’t know how you made the flower float, but I am impressed. Very cool, Cheryl, and I love the poem you wrote with it.

Thanks Mary! It was just the way I shot it, the macro bloom against the green foliage then I just finished off the blur. I was amazed how it turned out.

Hi Deborah. Thanks! Can you beleive that was mostly how the macro shot naturally occurred? I just softened it a bit. I love photography! Have a safe holiday.
