Shall we dance,
take a chance
second glance
at what could be
You and me
carelessly
spinning free
eternally?
Shall we dance
and embrace
face to face
leave no trace?
What went before
a closing door
our hearts will soar
to the stars,
no more the scars
of memory,
we shall be free
to love and laugh
again.
And when our
waltz is done
the rising sun
the only one
who shares our secret
will not see our lives undone.
Kiss me quick
before I go
and always
we will know
the magic of perfection
as we soared across the skies
and we, cleverly disguised,
knew sweet content.
