They are very comfortable around people and especially in or near woldlife preserve areas. Glad tou like the photos.

I wish they were as comfortable around people here! They’re always so skittish they keep backing up or fly away making it very hard to get an image with decent details without cropping really hard!

One of the best things is that there is so much conservation and animal preserve area, the birds have mostly integrated naturally into the civilized world. There were three of them picking out bugs in someone’s front yard near the road too.
