Should I stay or should I go?

When faced with forward motion

do you become paralyzed with fear;

or do you trudgeΒ fearlessly onward,

ready for whatever is headed your way?

The grass may not be greener on the other side of the road;

how will you know if you don’t take a closer look?

If she can risk crossing the line

then why shouldn’t we?

I’ll meet you on the other side!

  1. This reminded me of an old quote–can’t remember it verbatim–something like: it’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all…it’s better to have tried and failed than never to have tried at all.

      Good luck with the editing Julia. You’ll get there. Then look back over your shoulder at me…still crawling. Lol Tough to write with a full time job, both physically and mentally draining.

      1. I work part time, but still struggle. But writing’s like walking. Step by step and word by word on the slowest days will mean you get there in the end.

What do you think?
