Welcome to the second annual Cherished Blogfest. This event saw its first run a year ago, created by a very talented writer,  Damyanti at Daily Write.  I met her through blogging where she brought together a group of very diverse and creative people who I have come to know and consider friends. And a very special thanks to Dan for all of his tech genius getting us set up for this.  You should stop by his blog on beer night. It is very informative as well as entertaining.  Plus, he has the coolest bartender. 😀

If you sign up for the event you will have the opportunity to meet these wonderful folks as well as being able to meet new and interesting people like yourself!  This is your opportunity to talk about what you cherish most.

For me, that can change from moment to moment, as I cherish so much about this life I have been given.

Peeking through morning's haze

The gift of every new sunrise.

In this moment, however, I have decided what I cherish most is what lies ahead-all those as yet undiscovered moments of awe, wonder and creativity just around the next bend in the road.

I hope you will join our hosts Dan Antion, Sharukh Bamboat, Peter Nena, Kate PowellMary J. Melange and myself for a gathering of appreciation and making new friends. We all look forward to hearing about those things that you cherish most. You will find the list of specifics when you sign up

We look forward to meeting you. If we are already friends, I look forward to hearing more about what you love. I think you all know what I’m about……

Hint, hint.  😉

  1. Cheryl, I’m new to your highly recommended photography site per Sharukh. And of course I met Cheryl, the bartender through Dan! Look forward to reading the participants’ posts. I joined the blog fest last year and had fun creating my cherished object post. Sharukh’s sunset will be the July featured sunset on my blog site, Before Sundown. I’m excited to write up his mini- bio to accompany it. Happy Wednesday! 💛 Christine Elizabeth (CE)

    1. Hi Christine Elizabeth! I’m so glad you stopped by. I looked at your sunset post featuring Dan Antion’s photo. I look forward to the July edition. I have quite a few sunrises and sunsets here. These are my favorite moments of the day. We saw some amazing sunsets while living in Costa Rica, hence the blog name Tropical Affair. I started this while we lived there as a way to share our life with family and friends back home. Now that we had to return, it has become a place to share what I see in Nature every day. Happy Wednesday to you too! 😀

    1. I have the coolest customers. And boss. 😉 I had to work at getting the links right but I think I got it done. My little jaunt to the beach park was so nice after. I am very eager to see what kind of response the blogfest gets. Yes, it is very important, drawing people together. Thanks for all you did to make it seamless, especially for those “techno challenged members of the group. Really it is more that after dealing with our EMR system all day my synapses go on strike after 5. 😜
