Moonglow/Poetry

Moonglow

Meet me at the edge of midnight,

walk with me along the shore.

No words, we touch, time so slow

within the realm of shadow.

Sweet freedom in the land

of no tomorrows, drifting

beside the river of forgotten

sorows, words unspoken.

When soft comes morning light-

invasive, cruel, its divisive touch

to steal the truth we know-

our hearts revealed in

moonglow.
