It surely looks like it! I am a bit envious of your close proximity to the sea! I have to drive over the mountains 30 mins. to get there.

I am very fortunate but 30 minutes isn’t too bad. Where I grew up it was at least 3 hours to any semblence of a beach.

Lovely, lovely photos, Cheryl. The one of sand, water and sky is beautiful.

Good morning and thank you! These few were actually taken with my phone and I was “blinded by the light” so was not quite certain how they would come out. That one pleased me because it truly captured the moment just as it looked and felt. Happy Sunday to you and thanks!

Ah yes, the blinding moments. I’ve had those too, but usually not with that kind of success. Glad you were able to sink your feet in the sand, I’m still sinking mine into socks and winter boots… Although this week promises a spring-like warm up ๐

I am thinking warm thoughts for you. It has been too chilly to really spread my wings and shed my jacket yet but I needed the sun on my face and yes, the healing piwer if sand between my toes. BTW, are you really a Biker Chick cuz, it’s like, Bike Week here. ๐

Currently, I am biker chick in spirit only, although I still have my leather jacket. The Harley went away in a divorce six years ago, so now I concentrate on the two-wheeled pedal variety of bike. I was at bike week maybe 8 years ago and drove my bike onto Daytona Beach. What an experience! ๐

Ahhh..I wondered if perhaps you meant a two wheeler. Life’s evolutionary processes…so glad you were able to experience a Bike Week. It really is a unique event. I can hear them like bees around a hive.๐

I love those little birds and I love the image of a single leaf, washed up on the shore. I took a photo of one of those when in FL. I like the way you described this.

Thanks Dan. It reminded me of my bird image representing the duality of nature itself, the dark and light that resides within all. Have a great Sunday!
