Rebirth
When,
spreading my wings to the open sky
I let the breath of God dry the dampness of birth
from my body,
I turn my face to the brilliance of Life,
drink in its possibilities, disown my fear of leaving
the womb
And
with a sudden rush of ecstasy,
the wind whispers my name and
sweeps me into the arms of freedom!
Soaring, gliding to
Nowhere,
Somewhere,
Everywhere-
The Unknown.

Thanks, Marion, you humble me with your kind words. Now don’t spend your whole weekend shoveling snow! Enjoy that grandson. 🙂

Sometimes I really wonder, should I praise your art or your poem, both are equally good and enchanting. 🙂

Well, I thank you on both counts. I will be putting up new part of my story shortly. I hope you are having a glorious day in India.

Both the illustration and the poem are beautiful. Life emerges in one its enigmatic ways.

You are way too kind. And I thank you so much for reading. It’s really just my OCD, creatively speaking. I must always be doing something. I’m waiting for you to make me laugh today though. :))

lol, no pressure then. I have a meeting to attend shortly (our local history and heritage group). I will use the time to daydream and hopefully come up with something. hehe
