When my husband sent me a text saying a couple of my favorite birds were visiting the lake this morning, of course I grabbed the camera…
I was very close, maybe 12-15 feet trying to be as stealthy as possible with my camera and ginormous zoom lens.
It was okay for the first couple of shots; but soon enough it grew impatient with the camera lady and took off to the other side of the lake.
The shot above is my favorite, like a crop duster dipping its wing in greeting as it makes its way toward the day’s work.
